Hi,

We need to request a maintenance signature for the attached ServLet and XLet,. This includes the workaround needed for Intel based devices which is causing the socket communications to fail between our ServLet and XLet randomly.

Change Log (from ServLet/XLet: v3.0.10.7)

* EM-1016 - Improved GS NX implementation to support non-intrusive logout method for "timer" based timeouts while user requested logout events remain intrusive (requires GS NX plug-in v1.0.5.8 or later)

* EM-1105 - Implemented temporary workaround for Intel based devices where inter-application communications would fail, which stopped users from logging in (requires Q-Server v6.1 or later)

a) Issue: when scanning colored, under some circumstances, images are not with the right orientation.
Solution: handled the orientation issue rotating image when scanning colored.

Graphical element behaving like HTML edit box

Hello,

I'm interested to implement something like HTML edit box, meaning drawn rectangle,

then clicking inside bounds will invoke a soft keyboard, then, after some symbols get pressed following OK button,

inserted string returned and placed into the drawn rectangle.

I found the way to create a box:

LabelArea label_1 = new LabelArea("");

label_1.setBounds(170,50,200,20);

label_1.setBox(new LabelArea.Box(LabelArea.Box.Decoration.SQUARE));

I also found the way of pressing the Button get invoked a soft keyboard and caught string when pressed OK.

Unfortunately I cannot combine them together. Is there any way to achieve the scenario described above?

Applying colors

Hello,

I'm trying to apply different colors on different graphical elements. I see something strange.

API setAttributeColor() works right on the label but when I'm applying

it on the button, it gets only colored background around the text and not the whole button's rectangle.

If I call rootContainer.setWindowBGColor() , it apples normally on the main frame and label (if not called setAttributeColor()) but

the button stays with either default or the color set by setAttributeColor() but in both cases only colored around the text.

What is wrong?

Device not enter sleep mode

Hi, we have our solution under Compatibility Testing. Currently PTEC returned to us some issues related to the device not entering last stage of sleep mode. According to the orientation from PTEC we are locking the device only when it is processing something in background. As we have ran a build without locking the device, we have discarded it as the source of the issue.

Our solution allows the device to go into sleep mode in all WVGA models we tested (MPC2051, SP5200, MPC306z) but not allow uWVGA models to enter sleep mode. I am attaching the logs we extracted from SP4510 and MPC305.
