SDK/J Scanning application - detect if MFD has a document feeder

Hello,
Is there a way in the SDK/J API to determine if the MFD has a document feeder installed? If there is no document feeder installed then our scanning application will not provide the user with a "duplex" option.

why is the app state "suspend" in Startup screen under Extended feature setting when app is running (already opened app)?
As mentioned in SDK, we have only 4 states: Loaded, Paused, Destroyed, Active.
I also attach the log from device (MP C401) and some screen shots ((MP 2501).

Hello,
I'm trying to load icons on buttons, eventually I'm using our set with a bunch of appropriate images we use for similar applications. For some reason all icons shown well under emulator but some of them are not shown at all on a real printer MP C401. So, first question - why it happens and second - can you suggest how to create/convert icons to make it printer compatible, meaning which program, what configuration, etc.
