Feb-26-2026: In aligment with Ricoh's global end of support and discontinuation of SDK/J (Java) based devices, the process of removing all SDK/J download resources over the next few months will begin. FAQs, Incidents, and other reference materials will remain available to members for hisorical purposesd. No adjustments or corrections to these materials will be made, including adjusting any broken links. See our partner SDK/J end of support statement.
Feb-20-2026: This site update pulled in some updated core modules and addressed an issue with FAQ subjects rendering incorrectly. There were some changes to the site security profiles which should not affect any authenticated users. But if you encounter isues accessing resources, please let us know.
Dec-18-2025: Today's site update fixed an issue with incorrect Incident response ordering in some cases, and changed the ordering to latest-first. This means the most recent updates will now be shown at the top.
Nov-25-2025: In today's update all issues with closed tickets missing history have been resolved. Also, note that permalinks to tickets have been rationalized. Existing links saved should redirect to these new URL locations.
Oct-30-2025: We are aware of problems with closed tickets losing history. A future update to the site will remedy this. Members may see that permalinks to tickets will be formatted differently as a result. For now we will leave tickets open so they can be referenced easier.
Oct-10-2025: Please note that as of March 31, 2026 Ricoh and RiDP will end support for the SmartSDK Emulator. Upon this date all support for the SmartSDK Emulator will be discontinued. RiDP members are encouraged to continue to test on physical devices, and to move all development away from using the emulator. We recommend removing the emulator from all PCs.
Oct-08-2025: The LogCat and self-serve SOP signing services are once again fully functional. The SDK/J signing tools are still disabled, and may be deprecated fully.
Oct-07-2025: We are aware that the LogCat and signing service tools are not working at the moment. We will have to wait for remote services to accept the new site details, which could take a few more days.
Oct-06-2025: SmartSDK development key generation and management should be working now. SDK/J signature tooling may not work. The remotely hosted LogCat and self-serve demo/beta signing tools continue to receive HTTP errors on submit. We continue to work on this.
Oct-03-2025: Infrastructure updates continue, mostly focusing on regressions from previous behaviour. There will be a major update today that will resolve many outstanding issues. The self-serve signing tools will remain offline for now.
Oct-01-2025: The RiDP site infrastructure updates continue. Recent issues with incident management views have been resolved. We know there are issues with signture self-serve and logcat features. These will be resolved over the coming days.
Welcome to RiDP
We understand that in today’s fast-paced business environment preparing your product for market in a timely, cost-efficient manner is paramount to your success.
To help facilitate that success Ricoh offers the Ricoh Developer Program™ (RiDP™). Through this program, Independent Software Vendors (ISV) may apply for membership. Once approved qualified developers within these organizations can gain access to the developer support, tools and services needed to integrate new or existing solutions with Ricoh, Lanier, and Savin hardware and software products.
Whether your goal as an ISV is to embed your solution directly into Ricoh hardware or software or develop middleware to integrate with industry-leading Document/Content Management Systems, RiDP makes it possible.
Please note that membership is limited to ISVs in the Americas. For development support in other regions, please contact your regional Ricoh location.
