I am trying to display the current application-ver from the dalp file.  I could place that info in another place but I would like to store the version information in one location.  Looking through the documentation I don't see any reference to accessing the variables in the dalp file in my application.  Could you either point me to the document that tells me how to do it or a snippet example.

Hi,

i met a issue related to the message "Please install or start extended feature in ..." when start xlet.

My function startXlet take a long time to complete then SDK will raise the error:

"SDK_P_XLETM ERROR >>>> TimerStartApp timeout has occured in TimerStartApp#run"

so can you anwser my questions:

1, is it possible to set timeout setting for TimerStartApp in startXlet?

2, how do i prevent the error above if my function must remain logic? (it still must take a long time)

How to obtain printer's IP at run time in application through the API?

Our applications needs to be able to write(store) and read our destination server's IP address and port.

Scenario: first time after application is loaded to the printer, while starting it will ask about the IP and port, then store it somewhere. Then after application restart or printer power cycle UniPrintApp should be able to read this information and use it without user interruption. 

Is it doable? If so, how to do it?

We are finally ready to deliver The ROI Xlet! I have attached the Xlet builds in the zip file called ROIXlets.

Vm images of the ROI server backend have been shipped to both locations today.

The testing checklist is also attached here.

Documentation is attached in a zip file called Docs.zip that cover setting up the server application, explanations on the various xlet screens, how to create the Dalp files and the Dalp file creator.exe file.

We have used a PCproxyPlus card reader from RFIDeas for testing.

I'm creating a VM image of our Server software in VM Workstation with Server 08 R2 installed.

Can i just ship out a snap shot image that I will take or do you require the entire Image including the original server image?

Hi, we are applying our solution to maintenance signature.

1. Platforms supported:
- 7.x

2. Displays supported:
- WVGA

3. Changes:
a) Issue: after scanning solution is taking too much time to create the thumbnails.
Solution: code were verified to improve the performance of thumbnail creation.

b) Issue: user could leave the solution during scan process.
Solution: when the device is background processing the panel is locked so he can not navigate away.
