Hello,

I have a small change in the next release of our SDK/J solution that should only require a maintenance signature.

1. We are still supporting devices with SDK/J versions 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, and 12.

2. SVGA COLOR, WVGA COLOR, and HVGA COLOR.

3. 34099970.jar is the only modified jar file.

4. No modifications to the .dalp file other than updating the version.

Changes:

1. Job tracking not working if no protocol specified for server URL.  The protocol is now defaulted to HTTPS if not specified.

I have implemented the SaveEnergyMode interface and it works great on our 12.xx machine but when I install on our 305(10.xx) machine the application never recieves the event.  I still see the event happening in the RSH monitor but my application never gets the suspend event call.  I implemented the interface from INCIDENT ID#: 831 but the 305 never recieved the suspend event.  Anythoughts on how to get this working?

We received a contact regarding the scanning quality in MP501. Our application is resulting in a low-quality scanning using monochromatic. We are attaching an image sample for SP5200 and an image sample for MP501. They are using exactly the same settings for scanning. What is curious is that they assure that the scanning solution that comes with the printer scans in a good quality.

I am working with PTECH and there appears to be an issue with the auto logout timer.  I cannot find any documentation on how to implement the auto logout timer.  I also don't see any events occuring at that time.  If you could point me to the documentation that explains how to hook into the Auto Logout Timer on the MFP I would greatly appreciate it.

We have an SDK/J servlet called Agent Service.  If I attempt to install the Agent Service on one of our devices here, it works just fine.  I am using an MP 4002 as an example.

At our office in Germany, we have an MP C2003Z.  When I try to do the "Display Extended Feature List" with the same ZIP file as above (Agent Service), it lists nothing under the "Extended Feature Name", so I am unable to Install the servlet.  I am attaching a screenshot of this (WIM.jpg).

I am also attaching the Agent Service (34099970.zip) to the incident.

I guess my question is, what would cause this to work just fine on all of the devices we have tested except for this one?  Is there a device setting we have incorrect somewhere?

Hello,

Please find attached version 6.0.3 of the PaperCut SDK/J application. It fixes the following issue:

- Compiled to target Java 1.1 (6.0.2 only targets Java 1.5)

The application supports SDK 4/5/7/10/11/12 on uWVGA, WVGA and SVGA.

PLEASE NOTE:

The attached package uses a development product ID.

May we please have a production-signed version of this build with product ID 403046912.

We are performing our QA on the application. 

The application consists of 2 applications a servlet and a xlet.  I have included an unsiged version of them both which includes their DALP files.

I need a Production signature for our xlet application

They  installed OmtoolXlet on two Ricoh devices and the behavior was slightly different but in both cases even though the install was successful there was a Java error on the device when trying to use one of the buttons pushed. Both the java error was "out of memory" though heap & stack memory was set to the max on both the devices. Both the devices have the latest firmware versions. They did say that there is no other application running on their device.

How can there be memory problem even before we do anything on the device? Attached the error on the control panel and the  firmware version of the devices. Please let me know if you need more information.
