Internal development production signatures
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
Could I get the 3 attached Android applications "production signed" for internal development so I can begin final testing for our RXOP deployment solution?
Thanks,
Bryan
Querying the device returns the model name as either "MP 5054" or "MP 5054/MP 5054AZSP" AND MP C5503 or MP C5503A/MP C5503AZ

Question
THis is the continuation of 160919-000021. We are using the latest RXOP version 3.5.10 and we are still seeing this issue.
Can you give us RXOP the lastest version

Question
Hello,
I am trying to use rxopClient.jar to get device info from MP2504(Metis-C2).
java -jar rxopClinet.jar get-device IP
But some info can not get:
We asked you to fix this problem before, please refer to this link:

Did you update RXOP to solve this problem?
Can you give us a new version.
Ricoh 4504 and 6004 mfp embedded software install - Part 2
Incident Properties
Question
Hi Gerardo,
Referring to the solution in the Ricoh 4504 and 6004 mfp embedded software install ticket, I am wondering if the option --ssl-certless would work instead of modifying the solution?
Thanks,
Nick.
Getting ready to submit a bug fix for a maintenence signature
Incident Properties
Question
Hi,
We have a small (and simple) bug fix for our Ricoh OnBoard client to improve the responsiveness of our UI for customers who have a lot of users.
Anything we should be aware of when submitting this for a maintenance signature?
Cheers,
Larry
RXOP deployment detect device SDK/J vs Android
Incident Properties
Question
Is there a way, either using RXOP or some other method to determine whether we should load our Android application or our SDK/J application on a particular device?
We could potentially have customers who have Ricoh devices that only support SDK/J applications and other devices that can support the new Android applications. From a deployment perspective, we have access to either push our Android application to the device or the SDK/J application to the device. Is there a way to tell which one we can install?
We can just always try to install the Android solution and if that fails, then try to install the SDK/J solution. This didn't seem very elegant though. We also didn't really like the idea of having to use the printer model number to determine whether Android is available.
Also, if Android is available, I would need to know whether it is a G1 or G2 device because our Android solution won't work on the G1 devices.
Thanks,
Bryan
Max Home Icon error when installing
Incident Properties
Question
After a HD replacement on a MPC 6002 our installer is returning an error:
****Error -- install -- ERR_APP_INSTALL_ERROR : ERR_NOT_RECOGNIZED : Request Home Icon failed ... Max Home Icon : Reg...
the part after Reg... is cut off in the screen capture so I don't know what else is reported.
Any idea what causes this or what we can do to recover?
Error deploying Android Application with RXOP
Incident Properties
Question
I am attempting to deploy a test Android application with RXOP. The Android application I have written installs fine with the developer application installer, but gets an error when using RXOP. Here is the error when attempting to call the AppZipFile.Load:
<jar> or <apk> entries and application file mismatch in: CustomAuthTrackingSample-v1.00.00.zip
I have attached the Android ZIP archive I am attempting to deploy.
Thanks,
Bryan
