Setting function priority to our application
Incident Properties
Question
I am looking into setting the function priority in the system settings for the devices that do not support the application priority feature of RXOP. The RXSP ServiceProgram class has two fields for function priority (FUNCTION_PRIORITY and FUNCTION_PRIORIT_SHORTCUT), but I can't find any information as to what they do.
Is FUNCTION_PRIORITY the field I should be looking at to set our application in the system settings function priority screen?
The request sample in the documentation includes write permissions with values. What values does the FUNCTION_PRIORITY field accept?
Set Function Priority for 10.xx - 12.xx

Question
Is there now a way to programatically set the function priority on the printers? There was a way to set all printers prior to 10.xx but not for the more recent printers. I was told it was under development so I am wondering if it has been completed yet.
Unknown JavaTM version onsite

Question
We're havingissues with SC99700 errors at one client site. One thing I have noticed is that the Java Platform is version 11.31.00 and 11.34.00 , but the latest CVM version listed here is 11.13.01
Could there be issues with the 11.31.00 or 11.34.00 versions we don't know about?
Both devices are a MP C4503.
Thanks.
ROXP installation corrupts JAVA installation..
Incident Properties
Question
ustomer has a RICOH MP C6502 device that on two occasions now has had its JAVA install corrupted during an AccuRoute Embedded Device Client installation.
The first time our installation engineer was on site and observed this. They tried to push to the device and the buttons were there but when the customer tried to push scan, JAVA would crash. Rebooting the device did not resolve the issue and the customer needed a Ricoh tech to come on site to re-install JAVA.
Wwe tried an install through the administrator again. This time the install said it was successful but no Omtool buttons were seen on the device, and there was no Omtool application in the extended features.
Attempted to reproduce the issue with rsh logging turned on but the device could no longer be queried. It would fail with "failed to find device model ''" Looking in the administrator tools we could see that Web Service Settings were Inactive but we tried to enable these and reboot the device and the settings would not stick.
have a screenshot of the administrator tools. Note that the memory settings are all blank.

There was another device (Aficion MP 9002) which also had the same JAVA error when pushing scan but when that device was rebooted the JAVA issue was resolved.
NOTE: Please let me know what device loggings you would need as Rioch tech guy is visiting the customer site tomorrow to fix the device. This is CRITICAL issue.

RXOP ServiceProgram OPTIONAL_COUNTER_TYPE__EXTERNAL_OPTIONAL_COUNTER_TYPE
Incident Properties
Question
We have one last issue pending with our installer. On our SmartOp Panel devices we are trying to get/set the following Service Program setting:
ServiceProgram.OPTIONAL_COUNTER_TYPE__EXTERNAL_OPTIONAL_COUNTER_TYPE
I am getting read errors related to permissions. Could this mean I need a new Access Control List file to include the new devices? If so how do I go about getting one?
RXOP SmartOp Reboot Failures
Incident Properties
Question
We are trying to use RXOP to autotmate our install process. The install process works fine on older devices, but we are not able get reboots working on Smart Operation Panel devices.
I've done some testing using the RXOPClient tool included in the RXOP SDK,(3.5.13) and I can't get a reboot to trigger on our SmartPanel devices using that tool. We don't have a passowrd specified on any of our devices, and other commands seem to be working fine.
Below is the output from the RXOPClient tool on both a not working Smart Operation Panel, and an older working device. Any insight you could provide would be extremely valueable.
Thanks,
Brad

RXSP settings and permissions for SmartSDK auth app
Incident Properties
Question
Hi again,
I'd like to use the RXSP library with our authentication application. They goal is to be able to take a box fresh off the truck and install our application over the network without a service person having to physically touch the device (or as close as we can get to that, plugging in a card reader notwithstanding).
If I understand correctly, we need a keyfile or something to get permission to change these settings with RXSP. Gerardo shared a document last summer that had a list so SP-mode settings that we would need. I've filled it out and attached it to the incident.
I have a couple requests from the RiDP support superheros:
1) Can you review the list of settings so that we also have the ability to set the authentication settings back to factory defaults? The purpose here is so that when we uninstall the solution we don't leave the customer with a brick until a service person can make a visit. E.g., I'm worried that we might be able to set the machine to require "LDAP" authentication, but not have the ability to unset it. This also greatly fascilitates quality testing as we can automate the processes of setting the machine back to a known state.
2) The device hex codes might not be current. (We have a pair of MP C306's in the office.) I think you have the magic decoder ring for this.
Thanks,
Andy
non-java rxop libraries

Question
Hi Gerardo,
We're wondering if there exists or every will exist rxop libraries other than Java libraries. Including Java in an installer or requiring a user to install Java as a prerequisite is something we're trying to avoid.
Thanks,
Nick.
RxOP with signed apps
Incident Properties
Question
At one time last year we needed a production-signed application to be able to test our rxop deployment. He this requirement changed recently so that we can push android applications signed with our development keys, or will we still need production signatures to do this?
Thanks!
Andy
