Improve Deployment (supported IC card types)
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
We use RXOP/RXSP/RXCONF to configure and deploy our authentication and pull-print solution to Gen 2 SmartSDK devices. One of the steps we require our customers to do if they are using the on-board card reader for authentication is to "Mark the supported IC card types" under "NFC Card Reader Settings".
Is there a way to do this during deployment using RXOP/RXSP/RXCONF?
I am attaching a screenshot of the panel I am referencing.
Thanks,
Bryan

Hello,
We use RXOP/RXSP/RXCONF to configure and deploy our authentication and pull-print solution to Gen 2 SmartSDK devices. One of the steps we require our customers to do if they are using a USB card reader for authentication is to set the "Operational Panel USB Slot" to "Active".

Improve Deployment (controlled features)
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
In my quest to improve our automated deployment while using RXOP/RXSP, I noticed something in the "SmartSDK Custom Authentication - Device Configuration" document.
The 5th step says to "Set controlled features". It says to set the Copier Function to None and ensure Fax and Scanner are deselected.
Are these steps necessary for SmartSDK custom authentication to succeed? If so, which SP mode or rxconf setting can be changed using RXOP/RXSP to set these features appropriately?
Thanks,
Bryan
RXOP issue (rxspServlet not found)
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
We have a customer experiencing an issue while trying to deploy our authentication and pull-print solution to a Gen 2 Android device. During the deployment, we are attempting to configure a couple of SP mode options.
During our attempt to do the SPManager.create(deviceAddress) call, we get an IOException of rxspServlet not found. I am attaching our deployment log which clearly shows the rxsp servlet is on the device and marked as "active".
I don't have the SMC Report or the RXOP/RXSP debug log. If those are necessary, I can request them from the customer.
Thanks,
Bryan
Screen device always-connection Setting

Question
Hello,
Our Authentication and Pull-Print solution is deployed to the device using RXOP/RXSP. I was just wondering if it is possible to configure the "Screen device always-connection Setting" automatically during the deployment.
Thanks,
Bryan

New RXOP version 3.5.15 Released..

Question
Hello,
I see that RXOP 3.5.15 is released. Email description was "RXOP 3.5.15 was released to support a must have feature when developing support for card readers under the I/C card framework. RXOP now supports a get/set method for the IC Card Setting"
Question: Since this version is specific to I/C card framework, wondering if we need to really upgrade to it as we are not using I/C card framework. Please advice.
Thanks
