access DeviceID of the printer from remote application
Incident Properties
Question
Hi,
We had been developing an installer for our existing VPQ Connector application. In this application, I will require the Printer's DeviceID for informing our servers that the device application is being installed/uninstalled/upgraded. How do i retrieve it from the installer application? Calling the web API on that IP returns forbidden response, and using snmp couldn't retrieve the MIB that can give us the deviceID.
How do we retrieve the DeviceID of the printer?

How to use RXOP to register a new USB reader in Ricoh SOP device
Incident Properties
Question
Hi,
I would like to use RXOP to register a new USB reader in Ricoh SOP device.
Manually user use these following steps:
A user can register a new USB reader by plugging the reader in the SOP USB port as below:
1. Login as the device admin using User Tools
2. Exit "Machine Features", and select "Screen Features"
3. Open "Screen Device Settings", "IC Card/Bluetooth Software Settings"
The default value for "Select IC Card Reader" is "Do not Use"
4. Open "Select IC Card Reader", and
Choose "Proximity Card Reader" for keystroke readers.
Now, "Proximity Card Reader Settings" is enabled.
5. Open "Proximity Card Reader Settings"
When "Proximity Card Reader Settings" opens, connect the USB card reader.
SOP will detect the reader and registers it as a card reader (not a keyboard).
You also need to associate a plugin with the detected card reader.
6. Restart the device, and the card reader and plugin are effective.
And result as attached image.
Please tell how use RXOP library to register a new USB reader in Ricoh SOP device.
Thank you very much.
