We've changed the workflow of our application and I'm unable to get the applicaiton to authenticate properly. When we send a login request the system doesn't properly call our external authentication service. The application responds to the SYS_ASK_CUSTOM_AUTH_KIND message, the application has sent a NOTIFY_AUTH_SCREEN_DISP_STATE message with a value of true, but looking at the logs I see the SDK send a AUTH_SCREEN_RESTRICT_STATUS_CHANGED with restrict to true and never sends another message indicate auth screen can be shown.

What exactly causes this AUTH_SCREEN_RESTRICT_STATUS_CHANGED message to be sent? As well, does our activity need any special setup in order to avoid the restrict message being sent?

We have here in the lab an MP 305+, would we like to know which version of Android Device API, and if you have a way to upgrade to a more current version?

We pruchased a new device to test our application on and we can't enabled Custom Authentication as per the documentation. The documentation says to launch a "classic" applicaiton, however there are none installed. How do I get into the SP settings without one of the "classic" applications?

Currently, we're planning the submission of our Android application for certification.  This new application will replicate the functionality of our current Java application.  We have a few questions and would appreciate your input or direction.

• It's our understanding Ricoh will release new equipment in Q4 2017 which only supports Android and no     longer supports the compatibility mode for Java.  Is there any more information available about when during Q4 this change will occur?

• How far in advance do we need to request a certification date for our Android application?

• How long should we expect the certification process to take for our initial Android application?

Is the display name of Android applications on Ricoh MFPs customizable on a per customer basis?
