Slow launch via REQ_START_LINK_ACTIVITY
Incident Properties
Question
I am using sample code from the launcher application that is bundled with the SmartSDK, running on an MP 402. When broadcasting REQ_START_LINK_ACTIVITY, the target application sometimes takes around 3 seconds to launch. Tapping another shortcut during this timeframe returns the "System busy" message. If I use Activity.startActivity, the launch is instant. How do I remove the delay?
Additionally, running the REQ_START_LINK_ACTIVITY intent in the emulator causes "Unfortunately, SDKService has stopped" to display on the screen and the application does not launch.

Scan Framework question

Question
Hello Team, We are working on RCM SOPv2 application. and we are using Scan framework from RCL. Since the framework have not to use System Back Button, we had implemented "custom Title back button" and disable the System Back Button to make it consistanse thru the application
This application behavior was raised questions and comments from PTEC. They comments are based on two applications :
1) Ricoh Tiny Doc Scan
2) Scan and Copy
Do you have any applications samples that are using Scan Framework and do you have any suggestions as of best practise use or do not use System Back Button vs "Custom Title Back Button".
Thanks in advance
Alex

IPV6 support on SOP panel
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
I am unable to use an IPv6 address to establish a connection between our SmartSDK application and the server (IPv4 works). I attempted to use the built in web browser but even that won't connect to an IPv6 address. I can use the IPv6 address to connect to the server from other devices (Windows machines) but just not from the MFD.
Is IPv6 supported on SOP devices or is this a known limitation of the network stack / Android OS? Are you able to replicate accessing a web page with an IPv6 address using the built in web browser on one of your SOP devices? If it is supported are there any device specific configuration that must be applied to get it working?
Thanks,
Daniel
