Requesting a sample code for Ricoh Pull Printing
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
We are looking for a complete and working example for Pull Print on a Ricoh printer(i.e. how to release print jobs stored in the cloud directly from the printer, via the Android API)
This code should be in the form of an example app that can request a print job, and then submit it to the printer for processing. We are looking for something that is complete and addresses all the steps required for pull print.
Thanks
Hi all right

Scanning Embedded application
Incident Properties
Question
Hello, We are in the process of developing a Scanning application to add to our embedded application build. From what my engineers are indicating to me is that we may need a separate Manifest file to accomplish testing? If this is the case. Can you please direct me to where this Manifest file is located or how I can download it?
If you need the serial number from our machines I am happy to get it for you. Please let me know if this is needed.
No provision on Android device to enable/assign allowing Upland Accuroute button to be used with LDAP
Incident Properties
Question
No provision on the Android device to enable/assign HP capture and Route button to use Device Authentication(LDAP)
Applications used:
- Ricoh Android Device
- Upland's HP Capture and Route(HPCR) scan application
- HP Advance Authentication process
- Ricoh MFP secure
Problem Description:
MFPsecure authenticator for Ricoh: we authenticate with HP Advance on an HP MFP, we can assign that sign in method to any button on the device. In addition, the authentication process will ‘hand off’ LDAP data to other buttons/functions (the user’s email address, home directory, etc) so that when we use a scan app, it already knows the email address. We’re having trouble getting this to work on the Ricoh with MFPsecure as the authenticator and HPCR as the scan app. I know it’s a stretch to assume you all would have any familiarity with those combined apps but wondered if you’ve come across a similar situation in getting MFPsecure authentication to ‘hand off’ LDAP data to other apps on non HP devices. Is there a Ricoh setting that controls that process?
“Ricoh has Triple A authentication and if authentication agents write to this then other systems can read it. HPCR is looking at Triple A for who the user is.
Ricoh has Triple A authentication and if authentication agents write to this then other systems can read it. Does MFPsecure Ricoh Agent use it or not?
example of HPCR Scan application installed on Android and JAVA platform with LDAP configured. As shown below there isn't a provision that allows the scan application to be assigned to LDAP.
