Auto Paper Sizing

Hey there,

I'm curious if each printer has automatic sizing adjustments for Tray 1? Example: I put A4 sheets in my Tray 1 and adjusted the sizing accordingly with the physical adjustments. My Quick Copy app indicated a "working" status with a blinking paper icon, but never updated the page from letter sizing (8.5 X 11) to A4. Should I assume that the printer will not automatically recognize A4 vs. Letter or is there a deeper setting I need to check for turning on/off this automatic adjustment capability?
