I have a problem when I use a card or biometric reader, I have an input and when there is no reader connected to the printer it is to open the virtual keyboard, but when the reader is connected the keyboard does not open, I went to the settings of equipment and activated the keyboard but when I restart the equipment this option is unchecked if the readers are connected, would there be anything I could do to leave the reader connected and the input opening the keyboard?

The customer created a Rule on the server to denied Copy job to all of users in a department. Unfortunately, users still use Native Copy function.

We can reproduce this issue in our lab, from the log analyzed, it intermittently cannot apply the permissions to the device correctly. the request with Copier permission set to 'none', but when Device authentication state changed notification received, it got 'all' permission.

Hello Team,

We use an external card reader that is configured to report data in upper case.

When using the above card reader on any laptop/notepad, we could see the data in upper case.

However, when using the above card reader attached to Ricoh, we see that Ricoh printer reports the card data in lower case. Does Ricoh do any conversion to lower case (looks like in our case)?

We want this to be fixed. Could you pls advise.

We're checking the case:
- Task: 9015065 - Dev | PCC 5.3.0.3R2 | On Paper Feed Jam in Document Feeder, Security Risk caused by session not timing out while in Error state

The video attached.
The problem is when paper jam happen, device timeout doesn't appear.
It makes a security problem to us: 
- When user 'A' leave away, then another 'B' go to the device > User 'B' fix paper jam issue then using account of user 'A' to do something.

Could you please help to support how to trigger device timeout when paper jam happen ?

As the image attached "Ricoh device login fail - 2.png", it show error "B0216-002(-3)" when login device using Address Book account.

We are in certification, and the testers are testing copy tracking. 
In their lab, for every 1 copy, our SOP application is getting (2) JobEventDetectedEvent received from the device, which we count, resulting in the copy counts "doubling".  I have never been able to recreate this in our lab.  Could there be something in the setup of copy on the device?

Please could I request a maintenance signature for the attached updated SmartSDK application (a small update was needed following v1.0.18 due to a build up of users in production that this version clears down periodically).

Change Log (from v1.0.18)

* EM-2367 - Permissions update required for some users when performing scans on newer SDK models following change in EM-2244 (introduced in v1.0.18).
* EM-2368 - Removal of address book users after a period of time required following change in EM-2244 (introduced in v1.0.18).

I am told this version should now also no longer hold any developer signature information.

We have raised this ticket before about issue that a customer getting error 36855 "Scanner In use for other function" on the Twain Driver when the Papercut app is installed. Here is the link: https://ricoh-ridp.com/ridp/support-system/incident/ricoh-sdc-canada/1674592861/608219381/4781

We did investigation and couldn't find any relation between this issue and our app. We wonder if device log shed any light on this. I'm attaching the new ones with the hope that it contain firmware or SP mode setting information.

Also does the Twain Driver contains any log that we can check and tell us more details about the problem.
