Hi,

Our XMediusFAX application acts as a AAA client in order to retrieve the user name of the currently logged in user. On the other end Kofax acts as a AAA source and provides the user name. Usually this works without any issues.

However, this client needed to update the Kofax application on the device, which required uninstalling Kofax and re-installing it. After this update, AAA no longer seems to work for the XMedius application, as it is unable to retrieve the currently logged in user. If the XMedius application is then uninstalled and re-installed, it starts working again.

Since this client has over 300 devices which must be updated, they want to know if there is an quicker solution than just having to re-install the XMedius application on every device.

The code for retrieving the currently logged in user is pretty simple (it is mostly just a copy of the AAA client sample code that is provided with the AAA library).

Is there any known issue with AAA that could be causing this? Why would AAA act differently based on whether the application acting as AAA provider is installed after the application acting as AAA client?

Any help you could provide regarding this would be appreciated.

Hi,

Please find attached version 3.2.4 of the Papercut MF application for a maintenance signature.

The changes are described as follows

• Fixed an issue that stopped the display of the refresh button icon on certain devices.

• Fixed an issue that stopped the auto connection retry from working on certain devices.

Also we have made sure the provided package does not have any pre-attached dev signature, thanks.

(Please note that we need a SHA-1 signature only, as our app runs on some older devices that do not support SHA-256.)

As RIDP adviced, the customer contacted Ricoh Support. However, ( Ricoh Company Limited) support advised that this need to be discussed between PaperCut and RiDP.

Also they confirmed, The device firmware is on the latest version as well.

However, the Azure IOT initialization failed with below Exception message:

We are developing a new item and need to get a hold of the ADB Connect.  I have searched the site and can not find it.  We need this to pull information from the printer to assist in troubleshooting the problem we are having.  Is this something that can be passed to me or should we be using something different right now?
