Hello Team,
We are loading printer capability for the print color. In most of the printers, it looks good(Getting the values as Monochrome and Color).
Code to retrieve print color list capability.
List<PrintColor> availableColor = holder.getSelectablePrintColorList();
Question:
In Ricoh IM 350 printer, We observed duplicate values returned as Monochrome(5 or 6 times). What is the purpose of returning multiple Monochrome in the printer capabilities(print color)?

Hello,
I am getting some queries regarding the firmware update that should fix the certificate validation issue discussed here : https://ricoh-ridp.com/ridp/support-system/incident/ricoh-sdc-canada/1724869569/1665260412/5281 (Incident ID#: 5281)
In the last message in that incident (dated 2024-08-28), you mention that all devices should have the firmware update released within 2 months. Is there somewhere to check which firmware versions are available for specific devices or otherwise can you give me an update on which devices have the update available and/or an estimated date on when the update will become available?

Hi there,
Attached is the ZIP file for the signature. We have increased the application version from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2. In this update, we have done bug fixes found on the customer end.
Issue Highlighted- Ricoh devices with SE50 installed are having challenges with the latest Firmware Deployment to devices
Fix for the issue- We have handled some null case scenarios on the code side and passed the default value if it becomes null.

SmartSDK Maintenance Signature

I have a fix for the next release of our SmartSDK solution that will require a maintenance signature.
1. We are still supporting devices containing a Smart Operation Panel with SmartSDK version 2.10 and later.
2. Modified app(s): AppManager.zip, Authentication.zip, and SecureDelivery.zip
3. The .dalp files are not modified.
Changes:
1. Made changes to ensure HDD access is more robust via stale data verification and retries.

Yes, I confirm this.
"Please reproduce the observed fault, making note of the wallclock times when the device was restarted, and when the job was invoked and failed. Then collect a single day of device logs and attach the raw tarfile to this ticket."
I got the device logs, but unfortunately our customer did not mention the device restart timings. The reproduction of issue was done at 09-06 15:37:00 and in logs you can see a error at 09-06 15:37:16.383.
"It is possible that a workaround could be to delete the user from the Address Book and reboot."
The customer has tried this and still faced the same issue.

Print Job API Question

PaperCut have been testing our implementation of Pull Print functionality, when a print job is initiated via Javascript API (e.g. sending a POST request to `http://gw.machine.address:54080/rws/service/printer/jobs`) and the file gets downloaded from a specified remote server.
However, we have noticed that if the device is NOT Unlocked (No native user authenticated), the API call fails with a 401 error:

This error in SDK document is described as following:
> Authentication information (ID & password) does not exist, even though it is a request to resource that requires authentication.
That’s a bit odd because the SDK doc also says that this POST request for pull printing should work for Guest user as well:
Could you please confirm the operation of this API? Is there anything we must do to make this work unauthenticated?
Missing log entries

We have a customer that was testing a new version of our app on several of their printers and using our app as the authentication app. One of of the printers the app appeared to be closed down and the printer left authentication mode(MP 5055). We got some machine logs from the printer and it seems the app went down sometime on 8/31. When going through the logs it appears the printer stopped recording messages and there is a gap in the logs. The printer goes from 8/30 and skips to 9/1. Is there anything that would cause the printer to stop recording in the log file? It didn't go into sleep mode nor was it shut down. Our authentication server was still receiving message from the printer on 8/31, but nothing is showing on the device itself. I've attached a copy of the log cat files from the device.
