Hi everybody,

we have a business oportunity where we need to support older (Platform 11 and none Android Platform 12) devices.
Our preferred option would be use the device browser.

To verify the platform I tried to get the Device Browser emulator running. I got so far that it started up but it switched to an unsusable fullscreen mode where only half of the Device Emulator was visible and I couldn't even exit the application without restarting the vm the hard way.

Since the documentation regarding the emulator installation is outdated, the question is if there are some updated instructions to get going.
Here is what I did to get to the current state.

1. I created a new VMWare image for Ubuntu

2. Used the Ubuntu Linux 14.04.5 Desktop i386 iso image to install it. (the recommended Ubuntu 10.04 LTS is no longer supported and any updates or automatic package install doesn't work)

3. I installed the packages as described in the installation manual under point 3.2

4. I downloaded openssl-0.9.8g and could build and install it.

5. I could not download, build and install the directfb lib from the provided download link. http://directfb.org seems to be hacked and to be converted to a (no kidding see attached screenshot) sexual counsel web page, while still claiming to be about linux.

6. I installed directfb through the package installer with this lib https://packages.ubuntu.com/source/trusty/directfb

7. Started the browseremu software through a terminal sudo call. I did this with installed vmware tools and without. I played with the display resolution settings in Ubuntu itself, but the emulator always reset the display resolution and started with 2 thirds of the ui as unaccessible. (see screenshot)

Please let me know what I did wrong or what I need to do else to get the emulator running.

We have new translation files in our package (outside the signed JAR) and added these filenames to the Client.dalp file as child <jar> elements to the <resources> element. We also want to update the version number in the Client.dalp file. Is a maintenance signature required  for this change?

PrinterOn is submitting SOP app for maintenance signature. This is for HotSpot enterprise version for Expedia. Expedia has reported the issues during their testing. I have informed Joe Gormely about this submission

Renamed Cancel button to Close button

Made Buttons on the larger panels slightly bigger to accommodate for different languages.

Fixed an issue where selected items not graphically showing up when paging

As per the incidents 2397 and 2450, the firmware of the device MP C6004 is updated to the latest and the current M2a_System version is 1.27. The copier still becomes unusable after the upgrade.

Attached is the copy of the SMC report.

We would like to test AAA authentication with streamline.  We need to install streamline so we can test against the AAA authentication to verify my implementation works properly.
