Question
I believe the Ricoh SDKJ client requires Java 1.3, right?
Is there a TLS 1.2 library compatible with that version?
I'm working on a (hopefully) final SDKJ submission because of an expired certificate, but we had also identified that our client wasn't Tls 1.2 compatible and wanted to address that in the same build.

Problem launching Authentication app

Hi,
A potential customer is having trouble launching our Authentication app. The MFP is asking the user to 'Enter a user code with number keys'. (see attached screen shot).
The MFP is a MP 402SPF, a newer model purchased in April 2018. Could it be that it is one of those newer models that don't support old Java SDK apps? I know that models released after November 2017 are not supported but I am not sure when that MP 402SPF was realeased.

Hi,
I'd like to follow up on incident #2824 because the suggestion didn't seem to help on the field unfortunately. We've got the following feedback:
"The legacy UI has to always be installed. There is no separate firmware, as it is part of the Smart Op Panel firmware. It doesn’t list anywhere because it is “bundled”.
The only thing we were able to find was the latest SOP firmware, which we downloaded and installed. It still locks up the same way."

Kofax SSO does not work on some devices with Equitrac PCC, using AD account.
- Equitrac PCC is started
- Stop Kofax, and Startup again to init Kofax xlet.

StackOverflowError from DSDK when trying to display ShareScan client

Hi,
At a customer site when trying to start the latest released ShareScan client on the MFPs with SOP panel MPC4504ex and MPC3004ex, they experience that the application is not shown on the panel. Either a black panel is shown after a while, the machine beeps and returns to the android home, or there is a long pause when showing an empty ShareScan screen and eventually they have to restart the device.
Examining the logs (attached here as well as an SMC from one of the devices) it seems that a problem happens during rendering in the SDK/J eventually causing a StackOverFlow originating from the DSDK and resulting in the client not shown on the screen. We tried to narrow down whether this could be a sleep/wake cycle related problem because initially the power saving settings were set to aggressive sleep times, but changing that didn't help even though the device never went to sleep during testing.
Devices without SOP panel don't have the issue (for example C5110) and we could not reproduce the issue in-house with a MPC3004 with SOP either (I'm not sure what the difference is between this and the 3004ex model).

In the client I see nothing out of ordinary, there are a few SSL related errors initially that are transient during the handshake process and we recover from them correctly, so I believe those are unrelated, other than that the logs just show normal startup and operation on our side.
