RXOP source
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
In previous versions of the RXOP zip file published, it contain a src-html folder for the different libraries. Are there any source files published for 3.7.3? Are we able to obtain them? They have been useful in troubleshooting any issues on our end prior to escalating to RiDP in the past.
Thanks,
Daniel
Is RxOP IM + Java + Memory aware?
Incident Properties
Question
Hi,
Do the latest RxOP libraries correctly detect the IM MFP with the Java card? If not, do you have an estimate for when support will be added.
Alternately can the Android version of the RxSP servlet be installed and run on an IM device with the Java card installed or will that particular configuration require the RxSP SDK/J app? They both listen on the same port so I'm concerned with conflicts.
Thanks,
Nick.
[Urgent] Cannot deploy KofaxRicohAndroid-5.0.0.1086-maintenance20190213.zip on the customer's machine
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
We got new maintenance version KofaxRicohAndroid-5.0.0.1086-maintenance20190213.zip a few days ago from the incident #3213
This maintenance version can deploy as well in our LAB. But the customer reports it can NOT deploy on the customer's machine. (MP 3555). We used Kofax Registration Tool with RXOP lib 3.6 from this link.
https://fileshare.kofax.com/?ShareToken=6A3A185D7E64AC4032575F7F3503B56876B07EDC
Here is the RXOP logs:
ERROR [2019-02-26 11:46:39,868] [pool-2-thread-1] (ricoh.rxop.rxinst.ne:?) install -- STATE_INSTALL_ERROR ERR_SOP_INSTALL_ILLEGAL_APP :: Apk component error. :: :: ::
ERROR [2019-02-26 11:46:39,993] [pool-2-thread-1] (com.kofax.ricoh.client.registration.util.ApplicationSettingHelper:?) ricoh.rxop.rxcommon.RxopException: -- install -- ERR_SOP_INSTALL_ILLEGAL_APP :: Apk component error. :: :: ::
I have a confusing that the demo signature of the same build version 5.0.0.1086 it can deploy and work on that device.
On the same customer's MFP MP 3555
- KofaxRicohAndroid-5.0.0.1086-maintenance20190213.zip: It can not deploy
- Kofax_Kofax-5.0.0.1086_demo_2019-2-25_through_2019-3-11.zip: It is deployed and worked.
Please advise, Do we missing something?
Thank you

Update 3rd libraries commons-codec-1.3.jar and common-httpclient-3.1.jar by WhiteSource issues
Incident Properties
Question
Hi
Continue the incident ID#: 2980, 3072 with a WhiteSource issue for 3rd libs.
We've got newest released of XROP 3.7.3 from RiDP, and it is using commons-codec-1.3.jar and common-httpclient-3.1.jar.
We just would like RXOP team's plan for upgrading those apache libs.
Your information should helpful us to plan our whitesource issues that it relates 3rd libs.
Thank you very much

Remote Installation Password setting for IM C2000
Incident Properties
Question
Quick (hopefully) question for you. We have a new IM C2000 here and I’m trying to configure the Remote Installation Password but not having much luck. I can navigate to it in the WIM Configuration -> Extended Feature Settings -> Administrator Tools. But it does not seem to accept any password I put in.
It appears that the default password is blank. If I put anything other than blank in the Current Password it tells me “current Password do not match”.
If I leave the current password blank and enter something in New and Confirm password it tells me “Confirmation does not match new password” (even though I’m sure I typed them identically).
I’ve tried restarting the device (to clear any lockout). As far as we know, no remote installation password has been established on this device. Any thoughts on this? No documentation in the online guide and nothing when I do a Google search.
ACL Request 3.0
Incident Properties
Question
I've attached a new ACL request that has only the values we need to make our installer work. Our installer handles installing both of our products so under the product ID I listed both applications as the installer doesn't have an ID. Please let me know if there are issues.

ROC 1.6.1 reports file not found
Incident Properties
Question
While trying to use ROC 1.6.1 with a C2000 device we are finding that it reports FileNotFoundException when trying to get SP. The same acl file on a C4500 works without issue.
I have included logs as we don't understand why this device is not working. We have regenerated the self signed cert without success. Any help tracking down the problem would be great as we are unable to do a remote configuration and were hhooping to use the ROC tool to understand what might be wrong.
SPManager.Create fails with rxspServlet not found
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
This issue is originating from Incident #: 2959. When attempting to create the SPManager using:
SPManager spManager = SPManager.create(deviceAddress);
This fails with an rxspServlet not found exception. But, the rxspServlet had been successfully installed right before this. This is all in the attached deployment log.
Let me know if you need any more information.
Regards,
Bryan
