Device List for RXOP ACL File Request
Incident Properties
Question
I am working on an RXOP program to set the SP settings needed for our Authentication Provider. I have found the documentation for requesting the ACL file that will be necessary to do this. The sample ACL file in the RXOP 3.8.0 Development Guide has the following entries...
#
# Device hex list categorized by platform version
#
## 4.x ##
Device:370001
Device:370002
…
I don't recongize what it is asking for here. Where can I find documentation that explains what needs to be included?
Thanks,

RXOP failing to get and set SP codes on SP C840DN
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
We have a SP C840DN device which originally did not have a HDD but we ordered one and installed it. When we are running our Remote Operation Client it is failing to get the SP codes. I can see that the SOP rxsp application is being installed (as opposed to the Java version). I do not believe the SP C840DN device has a VM card installed.
I have attached the rxsp logs which show each SP code as returning an error "Exception: java.io.FileNotFoundException" as well as a "Connection refused" error.
Do we need a VM card on this model to be able to use RXOP (specifically getting / setting sp codes via the rxsp module)? Or should it be working without a VM card and using the SOP rxsp servlet application?

Daniel
ACL Request: A New Hope
Incident Properties
Question
We were testing our installer application and found that the way we set the function priority doesn't seem to work as we expected. I noticed there is an SP mode for FUNCTION_PRIORITY and wanted to test using that. I've added the SP mode to our ACL request. Can we get a new ACL file or if that is the wrong SP mode can you direct us to the correct way of setting function priority on a Java (non-SOP) device?
Note: Setting priority on an application doesn't change the function priority, this is how we were originally trying to set function priority
Error 5105 - Apk component error
Incident Properties
Question
Hi there,
We have a customer trying to install our applicaiton using our RXOP based installer to a RICOH MP C4504ex device. However, everytime they try to install our application they get an error code 5105 with the description "Apk component error". We tried installing on our local device and we have no issues getting it installed and the end customer is sure their device is up to date (although we have no way of checking that).
We asked them for a copy of the device logs and we weren't able to see anything obvious. Attached to this case are the logs the customer sent to us.

Hi,
One C6004 MFP at a Coke will not accept our solution. The installer reports the following error. Can you help us understand under what circumstances this error arises?
Thanks,

RXCONF CardReaderSetting
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
I am trying to use the CardReaderSetting class to set the card reader settings on the device. I am having some trouble using the setCardReaderSetting function to configure the device to be exactly like described here:
https://ricoh-ridp.com/ridp/faqs/why-my-usb-card-reader-not-listening-attached-reader
So, is there any sample code using RXCONF to configure the card reader settings on the device in this manner?

Bryan
Remote Operation Client - RemoteInstall password field when adding a device
Incident Properties
Question
Hello,
In the sample Remote Operation Client code (which we based our client app from), when adding a device there is a RemoteInstall Password field in the new device dialog. I can see that this is hardcoded to "ricoh" which seems to work with all the MFDs I have used.
Is there a way to change this password that an end customer would be able to do? Are we able to disclose this password to end customers? I am just trying to figure out if we can just hide the RemoteInstall password field in our Remote Operation Client and always leave it hardcoded to "ricoh".
Thanks,
Daniel
ERR_SOP_APK_COMPONENT_ERROR when securing IM device
Incident Properties
Question
Hi,
We recently received new signing files for our development machines including the new IM device. When we attempt to install the APK from the WiM we get a J240 error. When we try to install with RxOP we see a sign error with retcode 102 (obtained from the device logs and the log decrypt tool).
The signing files are in this incident: https://ricoh-ridp.com/ridp/support-system/incident/ricoh-americas-corp-technology-center/1551820987/200066350/3248
Attached are the logs and the signed files.
P.S. We can't recall if there was additional work needed to get an MFP in "developer" mode. We're looking in the SDK to see if we missed something setting this MFP up.
Thanks,
Nick.
How to implement Single Sign on?
Incident Properties
Question
Hi,
We want to add the Single Sign on feature to our application Axentria Mobile 2.0.
Can you give us information or where to obtain it, to implenet this feature? Do you have any sample code?
Best regards,
Martin.

Question
Hi,
We want to add the usr/password feature to our deploy from Administrator.
We use RxopClient, but I can´t see where to put the username, only can put the password.
Is username (for example, if we change the default "admin" to "administrator" or anything else) supported by RXOP? Or the user must be always "admin"?
Best regards,
Martin.
