Your application icons may not be visible due to the following lack of configuration:
SDK/J-icons
No authentication on device:
After installing your SDK/J application on Smart Operational Panel device, the device will automatically create a generic icon, due to system limitation you cannot have your own application custom icon for an SDK/J application on SOP, please see the following FAQ (https://ricoh-ridp.com/ridp/faqs/does-smart-operation-panel-support-custom-icons-sdkj-applications)
If application dalp file does not specify auto start. You must set your application for Auto Start, otherwise the icon will not be visible, you can set application for Auto Start from Web Image Monitor(WIM) or directly from device’s panel settings.
Using Web Image Monitor (WIM)
Log into device – Click on Device Management - Select Configuration from menu list – Under Extended Feature Settings headings – Select Startup Setting – Select the appropriate radial button for your application, Then click on Start Up/Stop
At device panel:
Select User Tools – Machine Features - Extended Feature Settings – Extended Feature Settings Button – Select Extended Feature Info tab – Select Application – At next window under Auto Start Settings. Click ON button.
With authentication on device:
If your application is set as the custom authentication application. You may find yourself setting your application as a restricted application. Always be sure check the following:
[User Tools/Counter]->[System Setting]->[Administrator Tools]->[Enhanced External Charge Unit Management], and select all buttons other than JavaTM/X or your application.
