Hi Alex,

We a have difficult in Custom/External authentication, the example AuthSample is properly working.

This example is perform authentication with Administrator of machine (Administrator Authentication Management).

Otherwise I need login with a user that is not register in MFP, this user is validated in our server.

This user need get permissions for release functions of MFP.

Bellow pass-to-pass the settings applied:

               1 – Configuration of SPMode for Custom authentication is apply.

       SP 5-401-230 -> Bit 0 changed 1

2 – Configuration of External Authenticaion.

       SP 5113-2  -> Expansion Device 1

                3 - In Administrator Tools -> Administrator Authentication Management -> User Management:

                      Admin. Authentication: ON

                4 - In Administrator Tools -> User Authentication Management -> Custom Auth:

                      Functions blockeds (Fax, Scanner, Copy)

                5 - The settings Enhanced External Charge Unit Management must be set?

                6 -   If yes, this settings Enhanced External Charge Unit Management is necessary for this?

I'm having a little bit of trouble getting what I assume is the device settings configured to use the ExternalLoginModule.

Everything seemed to be working fine until I started to work on the this:

I have looked through the documentation and cannot find the settings on the device. 

1. Go to SP mode and set SP5xxxx-xxx to 1.
2. Go to [User Tools] -> [System Settings] -> [Administrator Tools] -> [Enhanced External Charge Unit Management].

It is under section 4 of the attached, please advise.  The device is SP4510SF

I want to take a Servlet and combine it with an Xlet.  I have been looking at the example of UseBundleSample ( application 285411333).  The issue is I need the Servlet to be able to run in the background when the device is asleep.  Currently when the printer goes to sleep it calls destroy on my Xlet application which unloads it and the Servlet.  Is possible to tell the printer not to destroy the application when it goes to sleep? Or have the Xlet create a Servlet once and then check each time it is created to see if the Servlet is already running?

I have now got all the components installed and working on the new SP 4510SF and the uWVGA helloXlet installs and works without a problem but when I try and install our application I get a J201 error.

I have searched this site for this error but cannot find anything.  This application installs no problem on the SDKJ emulator under the uWVGA setting and it works without a problem.  I have checked the dalp files for both and cannot see any real differences but I really don't know where to look to address this issue.  I have attached the screens from the Web Image Monitor.  I have updated the developer code and added the device serial number on this site but I am unsure if this is the problem and if it has accepted the update.

Also I cannot seem to get the ROXP connecting to the device at all.  I have not set any passwords for remote installation and do not know what the password should be.  I have tried leaving it blank and the word 'password' all lower case but it still fails authentication.
