We had modified our code to have an auto detect feature by adding ScanOrgSizeMix.ORG_SIZE_MIX_SET to the attribute. Since this is a critical issue for our customer, we would like to have our OmtoolXlet.jar production signed.

I have modified the version of our OmtoolXLet.dalp to be 3.02 as this is a minor fix.

I have attached the OmtoolXlet.zip file for the production signature.

Hi all,

So the customer updated the CVM firmware on his MP 8002 MFP to version 11.34.02, but unfortunately we are getting the same 'LoginModuleSetException' error when we try to install Ricoh's ExternalAuthAASample solution, or our own Pcounter Authentication solution.

It acts as if the SP 5-113-01 and 02 modes are not set correctly but they are, we verified this repeatedly.

Any suggestions as to what to try next? Do you have an 8002 MFP running firmware 11.34.02 at your office on which maybe you could try installing an External Authentication solution?

I have a small change in the next release of our SDK/J solution that should only require a maintenance signature.  The only change being made is to add a configuration option to disable all AAA functionality.

There are no changes to the SDK/J levels we support.  We still support SDK/J 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12.  We also still support SVGA COLOR, WVGA COLOR and HVGA COLOR devices.

Is there a way that we can clear the cache or force the driver to re-query the home  page every time it's invoked?

Is there any way we can reset the browser on logout?

My 12x device (MP C306z) has been configured through the web browser to point to the ROI pull print web service. However the browser does not clear it cache when a user logs out and another user logs in.

so 'Rocky' logs in and brings up the Pull Print web page through a book mark called ROI Pull Print. Rocky then logs out of the ROI Xlet.

User 3 logs in and brings up the ROI Pull Print by hitting the book mark and see's Rocky's print jobs.

So is there either a setting on the machine or on the brwoser that make the book mark re-query every time a new user logs in?

Is it possible to invoke a remote login on a device.

This remote login isn't from a print job or usb card reader.

We are looking at the possibility of using a QR code for user authentication and logon to a device.  In a nutshell the ROI server will need to send a login request to the xlet (http, tcp or other protocol).

Is this possible with the Api?  If yes,is it possible to achieve on both 4X-7X and 10X-12X platforms?  

I appreciate that we will need to create the protocol listener but even if we did receive the request how would we be able to invoke the login process on the device?

I am trying to update our product names against the product codes on the portal to fall inline with our future development plans.

Unfortunately when I try to update them on the development signature request page of the portal, I can only enter 11 characters.  This isn't enough characters to provide the names we have agreed and seems to be a bug on the site as if I create a new product there doesn't seem to be a limit to the name.  I can supply in excess of 25 characters on that page.

Could you please look into this.

Dear support,

One of our clients have a MP 305+ and they are trying to scan an ID tag-like and they noticed that usually the MFP says there is no original set. Putting the tag to the top-left or top-right does not work. In a specific place at the bottom-right slightly to the left it worked but at the bottom-middle slightly left not (see images attached for better understanding).

Is there a way of handling this? Or is this a hardware issue?

Can you recommend to us a minimum firmware version for the 10-12x devices that we can install onto please?

Or is there not a recommended min firmware version.
