Does the Vmware image for testing have to be packaged a certain way?

Here are 3 recommendations for providing virtual machines for both PTEC and the RiDP support staff:

1. All virtual machines should perform Consolidation then Delete all Snapshots before export to reduce risk of file links break.
2. If virtual machines are created in VMware Workstation 12, they should be converted to version 11 (VM--Manage---Change Hardware Compatibility---select Workstation 11.x---- Choose Create a New if you want to keep your own no change.)
3. Export all virtual machines in OVF/OVA format which is much safer and quicker to import because it is only one file (File---Export to OVF).
